The cottage is located on a rocky point off Lake Superior. The surrounding property is beautifully landscaped with a mixture of tall trees, shrubs and grass and is a perfect complement to the cottage and the view. There is also an outdoor fire pit and seating area - ideal for relaxing after a day filled with outdoor activities! Walk down a wooded path, down some rocks and jump off into the refreshing and crystal clear waters of Lake Superior.
Due to the rocky terrain of this property, swimming access from this property is not suitable for young, unsupervised children, however there is a sand beach with shallow water located less than a mile away from the property for families with young children.
This fully furnished luxury cottage is equipped with all the modern conveniences you would expect! This two-story chalet style structure has a main living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry room and bathroom with a shower on the lower level and two bedrooms and a second bathroom with a bathtub on the upper level. Large windows in the front of the house allow the view of the lake to be the focal point wherever you are in the house. There are also decks located off the front of the house facing the lake on both the levels - allowing visitors to take in the breathtaking view and stunning sunsets.
The house is tastefully decorated in a clean, fresh modern style with light furnishings and accessories throughout - creating a true airy and relaxing environment! It can comfortably sleep four with a Queen Bed in the Master bedroom, two Twin Beds in the second bedroom. Pillows and blankets are provided - you can bring your own linens or let us provide them for you for a small additional fee. Other amenities in the living area include a fireplace, TV, VCR, phone, answering machine as well as a variety of books, games and magazines for those cozy days indoors! The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools needed to prepare a delicious meal! In addition to the full-size fridge and stove, there is also a coffee maker, microwave oven, toaster, dishes, cutlery, pots/pans and all basic cooking utensils. The washer and dryer are located in the ground floor laundry room.
